Your privacy is important to us at Emblem Entertainment. This document outlines our policy regarding the collection and use of personal information.
Information we collect and how we use it
Emblem Entertainment's game purchasing service does not require you to register for an account or provide personal information to us in order to be effectively used.
However, so you can activate your purchased product and we can provide a more user friendly experience, we will record the Paypal account address that is used after you make a Paypal payment to purchase one of our products.
When signing up for an account we will record personal information that you provide to us such as name, birthday and email address. This information is never made freely available and is used only in conjunction with our site services.
You are free to modify any personal information we have recorded at any time, providing our services are not experiencing any problems, by logging on to your account.
Upon completing a purchase of one of our available products, Paypal sends our site information about purchase over a secure connection. This information includes, but is not limited to, the price you paid for the product, the product purchased, the Paypal account email used.
How we use your information.
We use your information for identification, notification and to provide a better user experience when logged into our services.
The email address you provide us will be used to identify you in conjunction with your password to display your account details. We will also use your email address for notification purposes, which may include, but is not limited to, product and/or service updates and most importantly when you activate one of our products.
Your password is never seen by anyone. As soon as you register for an account your password is immediately ciphered (a one-way hash) and the clear text form discarded. The ciphered form of your password is what we store in our database.
At any point we may share with third parties or publish pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as number of users who purchased a particular game or number of users who received over a certain amount commission payments over a given period. This information does not identify you individually.
How we do not use your information
Emblem Entertainment will never provide your personal information to any third parties for any reason. We will never publish or make your personal information available to users of our site.
Data integrity
Emblem Entertainment processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable service-specific privacy notice. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary. |
